Author Event:
Pam Webber, November 4, 2022 at 1:00pm
Please join us on Friday, November 4th at 1:00 pm as we welcome Virginia author Pam Webber, who will be speaking about her new novel, Life Dust.
Set in 1971, this uplifting and wonderfully told story is about two young Virginians, Nettie and Andy, who are working toward a future together that's disrupted when Andy is deployed to Vietnam. Nettie is worried about Andy but she has her hands full as a nursing intern at a D.C. hospital where a supervisor has it in for her. Concurrently, we follow along with Andy and his squad as they successfully endure months of reconnaissance missions in the jungle but come up against additional danger when they are sent on a special mission. Both Nettie and Andy find comfort and strength in their faith, in their love for each other, and in their hopes for a future life together. With well-written and interesting secondary characters and with a strong faith-based story, this is a great book you don't want to miss!
Paperback, $17.95
Books will be available for purchase at the event.
