Crow Mary by Kathleen Grissom

Historical Fiction / Mystery, $28.99

Based on a true story and set in 1872, this is the story of Goes First, a Crow native woman who at 16, marries a fur trader.  As they travel to his trading post in Saskatchewan, Canada, she forms friendships and enemies and ends up saving the lives of several Nakota women.  This is the story of a young woman’s grit, survival and love for her husband and a window into a time long gone. The present-day family of Goes First gave permission for the author to write this story and shared information and family stories with her.

Please call or email us to register for book club.  You must purchase the book from our store which confirms your spot.
