Nashae's new book tells the story of Erin Johnson (EJ) who is starting 8th grade and hoping to be the number one student and President of her 8th grade leadership club which will put her on the road to becoming a scientist like Marie Curie. But there is one little problem -- Trevor Jin, who is just as smart and ambitious as she is and has been beating her out every year since kindergarten! When is she going to come out on top? When she turns 13, her mother tells her that her mysterious father is none other than Cupid, the god of love. EJ decides that a little magic just might help her achieve her goals and win out over Trevor. But things start to get complicated and EJ wonders if she was really ready to use her inherited magical abilities. A fun read for 5th grade and up!!
