This is the story of two families set over the course of one week in a near-future Kolkata. Ma, her young daughter, and her elderly father have finally procured visas to escape the collapsing city but then the documents are stolen. We learn the story of Boomba, the thief who stole the documents and Ma's frantic search to get them back as both families discover how far they will go to protect their children and give them a future.
